A new market entrant to the ever-growing world of household gadgets TheEggDropper sets out to make its way into households across the globe. How do you make a name for yourself in a sea of potential kitchen gadgets competing for the last space in someone’s drawer? Aqaba had a plan for an innovative and eye-catching website that would surely position TheEggDropper as the 12th egg in the proverbial Kitchen Gadget egg carton.
TheEggDropper also needed some fundraising so Aqaba developed and marketed TheEggDropper for a Kickstarter in March 2022.

The challenge
Research Based Approach
An innovative website with a fully animated 3D graphic of TheEggDropper that showcased the process of use as the user scrolls down the homepage of the website. Kickstarter Campaign with multiple reward tiers and incentives for backing. We chose to develop a Kickstarter to gain a better understanding of the potential audience makeup for the product and obtain a refined image of what our target audience was. We leveraged this data to jumpstart TheEggDropper’s digital marketing efforts and pave the way for a successful marketing campaign. To build the Kickstarter we created Media and brand assets as well as product video guides and advertisements. Brand reputation management and interfacing with audience and customers. Integrated and set up Ecommerce, bookkeeping application, fulfillment software, and inventory management.

To sell and fulfill a product TheEgg Dropper needed software that integrated with their E-commerce provider and could display shipping prices to customers and print labels from carriers in real time.

TheEggDropper Pals
To truly bring TheEggDropper brand to life Aqaba worked closely with a character design and animation studio. They helped create a unique set of personalities that we brought to life for a commercial. These characters add a unique flair to the TP2 Products brand. TheEggDropper Pals draw people’s attention and drive engagement.

WHAT WE LEARNED
Taking a unique product to market and developing a new and unique brand. The EggDropper offered unique challenges in launching a Kitchen Gadget product and interacting tackling individual hurdles in crowdfunding, eCommerce, and launching a Kitchenware product.
- Created how-to videos and staged product shoots.
- Developed a unique scrolling website animation that showcased the products function.
- Strategized, built, and managed a successful crowdfunding campaign.
- Storyboarded and work with animators to develop a fully rendered group of characters for an ad spot.
- Began running live shows on Verb Market and contracted to air live on QVC in Q1 of 2023
